Thanks Jackie,

Good luck to you as well. Before you know it, it will be our turn to be on the loser's bench.

Oh how I can relate to this.  I was scheduled for Feb 9, 2009.  I got my surgerytime and then 2 hours later the nurse called and said i needed to have endoscopy and colonoscopy because of blood work.  Long story short; had a stomach condition that was bleeding needed several argon plasma cauterizations.  Next surgery date Dec 22, 2009 cancelled because hosital had not received written approval that it is a center of excellence from medicare.  Now I am scheduled for Feb 1, 2010  I so understand how you are feeling.  I too am tired of preparing myself for nothing.  On the upside I have lost over 50 pounds.

That just proves that even when you think you have a bad story, there is someone worse off than you. I guess that's why people like soap opera's, reality shows and Country & Western Music.

Thanks for making me feel better!!!!

Went to Kettering hospital for my blood work (Pre Admission testing) AGAIN. On the way out I decided to go up to Dr. Anderson's office and guess what....they told me I had to be rescheduled again for the FORTH time.  That's it I am totally fed up with Dr. Anderson and her staff.

AVOID HER and her Office Staff AT ALL COSTS!

What a joke, this is the most unorganized office I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and see someone else.

I have decided to go with Dr. Schumacher. He's in the same network, so I might not have to start all over.

I plan to report Dr. Anderson and her staff to the BBB and whatever other organizations that may listen.

No one shoud go through this type of treatment.

I have heard some great things about Dr. Anderson, but I can't continue to go thru this agony.....

Wow!!  You should run to another doctor.  True, they are the experts but as I see it, they are working for us.  If anyone else did this to you, you probably wouldn't think twice about changing midstream.  You were about to put 20K-30K in her pocket after being treated like %^*>.  There are plenty of excellent doctors and if yours can't seem to get her scheduling in order, she needs new staff.  You have truely been done wrong.  I feel for you, that really sucks.  Best of luck with the new doctor.

Hi Jim -

Not sure where you are looking... but I'm with Dr. Trace Curry in Cincinnati (Evendale - northside off 75).  I can't say enough good thing about him & his staff.  Most have had WLS so they empathize.  I went for pre-admit testing at Jewish Hospital (northside off 71) last week.  Everyone was so helpful, respectful, caring.

I'm sorry to hear that you have to go through such disorganization Jim!!  I can't even imagine.  My doctor has a 2 week pre-op liquid diet and if I had to go through that only to be rescheduled 4 times I would run for the hills!!  Good luck and I hope you can just transfer everything with ease.
